Anyone use Iridium visors?

Just ordered an Iridium Visor for my X-lite, was going to buy a tinted one but the Iridium was on  offer.

Never tried one and before I get it was wondering what they are like.

Just ordered an Iridium Visor for my X-lite, was going to buy a tinted one but the Iridium was on  offer.

Never tried one and before I get it was wondering what they are like.

The Iridium is visible from the other side of the visor.   You will have great improvement of vision in any daylight conditions over the clear visor.  Pretty much like you would from a dark visor.  :thumb_up

Yes, everyone else maybe melting to death on the roads but not us! Because we have a car with hair conditioner! I mean what in the name of sanity did they think we want it for? To make sure that the roof rack is more shiny and managable?

I got a blue iridium on my old AGV and it's the same as my HJC tinted to look through.

Cool,

Just rang up the company and paid for next day delivery. My Xlite is a great lid but just gets let down by having a clear visor and no breath guard available for it.

Had one of these on my shoei xr 1000 it was like my new tinted visor havent noticed any difference  :tup2

Be careful as some visor cleaner sprays are not suitable for use on iridium visors. :scooter

Soapy water it good!

All soaps have abrassives in them and will dull your visor.
What pewter said, wet wipes.
The only soap guaranteed not to contain abrassives is johnsons baby shampoo.  Read this a few years back in bike or performance bike magazine.
If you work somewhere they have eyewear cleaning stations,  borrow a bottle of cleaner from the station.   :tup2
