My experience of the B2’s hasn’t been as good as yours.

My first pair leaked the very first time I wore them in the rain  :oops I was out in Ireland for a week and the weather wasn’t so good, almost came back with swamp foot, took them back to Bevan’s and they gave me a new pair  :thumbsup

These leaked also  :thumb_down not as bad as the first though, and by the time I took them back they were just out of the guarantee  :taz I was told to give Feridax a ring who are the UK supplier, after speaking to Matthew there, He told me there was nothing they could do  :tt when I inquired about the Gore-Tex liner being guaranteed for life, He said hang on and I’ll just check, then told me to return them to Bevan’s  :tt and they’d send them onto Feridax  :tt who in turn would send them to Sidi in Italy  :tt

To cut a very long story short, 3monthes later they sent them back and rejected the warranty claim  :handjob I was right pissed off, especially as my very first pair of Sidi boots (Black Rain’s) lasted 7 years before they started to leak.

I’ve just bought a pair of Alpine star S-MX 5 water proof’s from Hein Gericke - £200, but they were doing a deal – if you spend over £160 they'd give you a £40 off voucher, so ended up paying £160, I wore these to Ireland in the rain this year n me feet were  nice n dry again.

The moral of this story is –  :scratch

:thumb_up     ALWAYS  BLOODY  RAINING  IN  IRELAND    :thumb_up

Helmet city £199.99  free post at the moment :thumbsup still a lot of money but if they are such a great boot with a 5 year warranty that not too bad. As they have Goretex as a function its worth the extra.

I've got a pair of black rain not as good but I wish I had bought the broarder fitting which you can get now, Sidi zips can be a problem if there is too much strain on them with leathers inside the boot :taz
