i some times wear my axo slammers pit bike boots when im out on my supersuke, they are awsome and i've had them close on 3 years and done hundreds of off road riding in them and they are still exellent condition.....these and the alpine star tech 2 would be the only 2 shorty boots i would recommend, thor 50/50 are crap and fall apart i have'nt worn the tech 2's but my axo slammers are very comfortable and they feel like shoes on your feet, good ankle protection no probs braking or changing gear in them and they look cool aswell as mine are covered in skulls.... :thumbsup
