Brake discs
« on: November 02, 2011, 03:54:42 PM »
Has anyone on here bought brake discs from Sandy bike spares Ltd and had problems at mot time. I bought a set of fronts for my zx9r in April (only done 200miles since) and they failed the mot :censored. Mot guy said he's had quite a few bikes in with discs from this place and they all failed. I've spoken to Sandy bike spares Ltd and they will exchange but not refund ( pointless if the quality is this bad..Also when i spoke to them they didn't seem surprised when i said the bike failed the mot on front discs :taz

Possibility of Trading Standards, also the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA)  may be interested if they are selling parts for road use that don't reach the required standard.
