Hello everybody

Thanks for the warm welcome.

Don’t worry about your blood; they only attack during the night, when it’s full moon.
And it is my guess that they have a thing for bikers, so I think you would be safe….that is if you really want that.

However, there are a lot of fantastic motorcycle roads that you should definitely check out (vampires or no vampires). I would put my soul to test just for a ride on the most crooked and challenging road for motorcyclists – Transfagarasan Road (Transfagarasan Pass – 2042m above sea level). Built between 1970 and 1974 as a military route, by communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu (after the Soviet invasion of Cehoslovakia in 1968) it snakes up the tallest peaks of the Carpathians. Due to the high altitude the road is open only 3 months per year and you can find walls of snow on the side of the road even in July.

You might have seen it on Top Gear Show, they said that it is better than Stelvio Pass in Italy.

Claudia, warn people not to eat the cucumbers in Brasov and the Carpathean mountains.  You get terribly addicted to toilet stops if you do.
Ride a bit, stop, drink tea, ride a bit more.
