Ddraig, My first bike on the road was a KMX 125 in 1991, I was absolutely landed with it except,  in the first week the ignition wires were cut but the thief must have been disturbed as the bike wasn't taken.  next attempt the seat went, looked as if they couldn't get through the locks so decided on damaging it instead.  third attempt it went up to croeserw, I told the police who had it and they said to leave it go and take the insurance, it'd be better than getting it back.  They never bothered doing anything. I couldn't believe the luck I had with it. I dont know what it is like nowadays for thieving bikes that can be used off road, I wouldn't wish it anyone.      Saying that, a couple of years ago Penrys son Pixie stole my bike.  the police turned up and got my bike back but wouldn't arrest the grassing smack rats.   The law is the arse, as a police officer I know told me.

I will look at the ybr125 now.
Yes, everyone else maybe melting to death on the roads but not us! Because we have a car with hair conditioner! I mean what in the name of sanity did they think we want it for? To make sure that the roof rack is more shiny and managable?

Ddraig,   When you said 'not a bad bike', i read it wrong as 'not a road bike' and assumed it was a trailie. my last post makes more sense now does it?
As soon as I looked at it I thought, ' oh. I know now',  it looks quite comfy too and don't think it will be desirable to take off road.
I had just a good bip about naff all really then.

Lol. Dim prob.  3 attempts on my bike, 1st on. The little scrote cut of the front d-shackle, but he was a noisy sod, but he took flight when i got out the door, speedy skinny shit, lol. Im too big to run fast. Next 2 attempts didnt even get as far as putting 2 hands on Belinda(gf has named her) and the disc lock alarm spooked them along with me at the window with a camera lol. Lucky im a light sleeper. Next step is an alarm. No fucker is getting a chance to take my beloved bike.

Torture ain't it?   work hard to pay for something and these scummy shits think it's ok to take it because we're insured anyway.   I know how they think because sadly I happen to know some of them. I don't socialize with them though.  It was bad enough they were that low when they were young but still living that way knocking 40 seems even sadder.  Some are inside now where they belong, probably not for long.  Their punishment is never enough.
I sleep with the bedroom window open a bit, always, and I keep an air rifle where I can get at it quick enough.
