I rode a Blackbird the week before last and I was really surprised by how nimble it felt and how smooth the power delivery was.  The only downside was it was a wet day which made me feel I had to take my time as I weren't used to the bike.  I have just returned to the road with an old 96' model ZX9R and my last bike on the road was a 96' model yam thunderace three years ago.  I really like the B/Bird as a great allrounder and plan to own one soon. They stop with a lot less persuasion than the mid 90's bikes I am accustomed to which is one factor that blew me away.   Anyway,  I am new to this forum like y'self and thought I'd say HI!    Just tended to waffle a bit because I was excited about my day out on a 'bird.
Waffle away dude thats what we all do  :tup2

Glad you iked the Bird, a hefty handful but brilliant once you get used to it.
