Hi all
Just thought I'd pop on and have a look around been following the group on FB for a while and then I saw one of our photographs on the home page of the Aberdare Road Races with Alistair who came off on the Sunday. We have a number of photographs from this year's and last year's racing on our flickr page if you are interested! You are not allowed to view links. hellooooo  :nails
Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

Hi Mal and welcome.   I am new to WelshBikers and have been off the road a while too.  I had a half decent income then I never etc etc (no...crying...spilt milk).  Things are improving slightly again for me and so I've bought myself a cheap bike to get back on the road.  I ride a 96' model ZX9-R at the mo, best I could afford to start me back off.  Had it for £800, I don't know if that's a good price but I am landed to be back out on two wheels.   Thanks for sharing the pics.  I never went to watch it this year but I normally do.  My dad lives in Cwmaman so we stay over and can have a drink then while spectating.  Hope your luck changes soon and you get yourself back on the road.
Yes, everyone else maybe melting to death on the roads but not us! Because we have a car with hair conditioner! I mean what in the name of sanity did they think we want it for? To make sure that the roof rack is more shiny and managable?

Hi Mal,  my brother-in-law is a photographer, he has a website and is on facebook, look up Digicase or Digicase photography (Bridgend).  His name is Lee and say I recommended you as a fb friend.  His strong point is still life (in my opinion) but his photographer friends all have their individual strong points and share their knowledge.  I ain't known Lee to photograph motorsports, that might be a new interest to put in the mix.   Lee might be helpful in advising on ways you may be able to sell some of your photographs to get funds to buy yourself a "bike".
" "  to show that I was talking bikes as we're on a biker forum.  lol.

I know its not easy. my bro-in-law works really hard at trying to get his sold as it's now his occupation.   It's easier to get up early for morning shifts and stay awake for nights and have no passion.  lol.
