I am that old.
Started with LE Velocette, then Matchless 650 twin, later came BSA Gold Star & later still Velocette Venom.
All credit to classic bikers but I would not swap a modern bike for one.
Nice to see the old bikes though.
I even remember when we laughed at the Jap bikes with their girly electric starters.
We thought real bikes had to be kicked into life.

i have seen them too myself and hubby has been to  beaulieu motor museum for 2 days had a fab time and hve seen soooooo many fab bikes and lots more, seen this old indian bike for sale at £59,000 stunning it was.    there was the top gear cars there for some of the series .
