:eek nice boots, but not that sort of heel for biking  :tt  I'm not very tall, but its the ball of yr foot you need to get on to the tarmac, so a heel doesn't really help.  (only my opinion, ohter may have different view :nails)   I have some ladies 'daytona' ones with a little heel, they're comfortable, are waterproof so far , I've had them 2 years, look ok and are easy to walk about in when yr off the the bike ,  Good luck finding what you want  :thumbsup
Bikes don't leak oil',.... they mark their territory :o)           Sometimes it takes a whole tankful of fuel before you can think straight. Growing old is manditory... but growing up...well that my friends...is OPTIONAL!

thanks for the reply snoopy :thumbsup
im able to touch the floor with my toes/ balls of my feet... just... but i thought that if i had heels it would add a bit more contact to tarmac?? as you've prob guessed im new to biking and appreciate your views and advice  :thumbsup
i have a cbr 125 at the moment(which is quite small) and im hoping to do my test in the spring.... im getting a little anxious that i even with lowering kits i wont be able to touch the floor properly on something bigger...

I took my test on a gs 500
and now have a sfv650 ..can't get my both feet right down but with the brake covered and stationary I can put my left foot down  flat comfortably, I had the suspension lowered a litle bit and that made a differance ....
I think its just a matter of getting used to the balance of the bike yr riding and the weight ... feeling comfortable ..  :thumbsup
I am 5' 2'' just !! lol   :nails

Keep at it!! tis GREAT !!!!!  :thumbsup  :thumbsup
