If you are too fat for the leathers..... why not cut a couple of holes in your Oxford touring bags and you can wear those as trousers......Start a trend.....  Hi Viz Yellow and plenty of storage and pockets for sweets..... they expand to 110 litres don't you know!!!!

(Still much too small for me though...)
