Swansea to/from Cardiff

Weather is looking to be dry tomorrow (Friday, November 25th); so I think I'm going to have a ride  :scooter to Cardiff via A48 in the morning and back in the afternoon. Would most welcome company. :)

Also, can anyone recommend somewhere to park (and not to!) and eat?  :feeding

go to cardiff bay,take a chain to lock the bike though,plenty of cafes and pubs park behind eli jenkins  just by the big open area :thumbsup

In Bridgend,Tremains Road is Thunderroad bike shop ... good cafe
on the A 48 is the A48 shop ... if you can find it ... (Bonvilston?? St Nickolas????)
further on is the Downs Cafe .. its near a petrol station ...  (Cowbridge??)
You could go to Barry Island .. the front has places to chain a bike.. near cafes

Weather stayed dry until I got back to Swansea; but the wind near Barry was quite intense for a while. Went to Barry Island in the end, nice area, though I imagine more fun in the summer!

There were very few cars on the road for the most part except in Barry, Swansea, and Port Talbot as you would expect. Lots of motorcyclists out and about.
