Going to make the most of this evenings good weather with a ride from Swansea up Heol Llangyfelach to Ammanford and then into Beacons before coming back down A4069. Good evening training. :)

just seen this, If you want another route down from brecon, try the A4067. Cray Res - Dan-yr-ogof caves, -Abercrave- pontardawe - Swansea.

Great roads I use this one every day.

Thanks; love DYO but haven't ridden there yet! Would love to ride up to DYO and walk up to Llyn y Fan Fach for a spot of fishing  , but apparently you can't fish there any more! 

A4069 in the dark is an entirely different beast to daytime, was an interesting experience to say the least! Definitely good to get some evening / dark rides under my belt before going for practical exam / training.

if you go up to DYO caves the roads are great, mostly bypass plenty of places to stop for a coffee.
