Merthyr test routes ride out, help request

Dear Welshbikers   
I and biker Tippon are looking for someone who would be kind enough to give us a tour around Merthyr, best someone local I guess. Both of us are gonna be taking the test there and would like to learn the town's streets. Tips on riding would be appreciated as well. Any fresh full licence riders out there, that would spare an hour or two???  Any old bikers that enjoy passing their experience on learners (not gonna mention the amazement and laugh at how terribly a learner can struggle, speaking of myself in here, don't know about Tippon)?

You can fond the exact test route on google
Just type in something like motorcycle test route Swansea or Cardiff or wherever your looking for

C'mon, show us the way! 

Feel free to laugh at my bad habits, which have got to be worse than Tom's  I vaguely know Merthyr, but not the test route. If I get time, I'll google it in the morning, before I go away, but any experienced riders who know the route would be greatly appreciated

Recently the DSA stopped publicising the test routes. So you could go anywhere in the Town. Almost certainly there will be a section on the A470 Dual Carriageway or the A465 Heads of The Valley (nicknamed Death Alley).

But you must remember it's not a case of just rehearsing a test route but being able to ride in any situation on any road.

The fact that you don't know Merthyr means that you have to concentrate more, cast your observations further forward and read the road signs properly.

I've had a look at some of the (very) old test routes, and it seems to be fairly basic stuff, so I might just make my way over to the test centre at some point and have a ride around some of the surrounding roads to see what they're like

Why dont you wait for some else to go out on their test route and tag along on the back at a safe distance

im more then happy to help if can not sure about the routes they use as there 3 or 4 they use but they do use a470 to join on and exit....when i did mine we went up by hoovers as the speed limt goes from 40-30 or other way round.why dnt you just have a ride around  as i said im more then happy to help if can and not to far from you
