The WB'ers Around Britain trip got me thinking
What if we had a list of all the biker friendly b&bs, hotels & campsites in the UK

If you want we can even go as far as pubs & cafes

Post them up here & ill sort them into areas (please don't open another another thread)

Slightly off topic but check out You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login some friends of mine got made redundant from Sony, thought balls to it sold their houses took redundancy money and bought a run down chateau, 2 years later all done.They are all Bike mad super friendly guys, if the Tour of Britain takes to Europe next year it would be well worth a visit.

I just bought the MCN motor bikes welcme guide for the uk and it was a top help on the trip, it cost me £15 but it any one wants to borrow it then they are welcome, BUT i will take a £15 bond to make sure it is returned in good condition for othere to use  :hit

£4.00 per night per tent (cheep as chips+3 miles from brecon town)you can tent up a couple of feet from the river usk,fish there,swim there,(free)and the guy gives out free half cut ready made open fire drums(open fires/fresh pic your own fruit+drop them in a bottle of pims....outfuinstanding.

Trevean farm near to Padstow in Cornwall.
It's about 10 miles from Padstow in a place called St Merryn........stayed for a week in a tent there 2 summers ago...

Very basic facilities, no clubhouse or bar, small shop for any urgent necessities though...

Stunning location and is good as a base to tour the rest of Cornwall.......

Found it on the Cornish Tourist board website, they don't have a webpage of their own

Very friendly couple who run it..

There wasa web site that listed 100s of cafes etc until recently. I did find a few, about 10 A4 pages worth. :thumbsup

I sifted through the list and added a webpage to the southwalesvjmc.co.uk site for those in Wales. :innocent

Can recommend a good B&B in Aberystwyth, rooms are clean and tidy and range from en-suite to STD. I paid £25 pppn for a double room with a sink (Oct 09), with the bathroom next to our room, they do a cracking breakfast.
I drove up there, but asked about secure parking for bikes and they showed me the back yard, saying they’d had a few Gold wings’s parked up out there, and that it was secure.

It’s about a 2 min walk to the train station which has been converted into a massive wetherspoon’s
