Description THIS was the moment a racer at the Aberdare road races escaped serious injury after losing control of his motorcycle. The rider, Alistair Howarth, was one of a total number of four who walked away from motorcycle racing related accidents at this years Aberdare Road Races over the weekend. Alistair was participating in the 600cc racing class when a sudden sharp corner of the race track took him by surprise & he lost control flipping his machine in the air. The motorcycle took some substantial damage but luckily the rider was fine, refusing to go to A&E Alistair was given the all clear by paramedics & even continued to race that very afternoon in which he took first place. Marshals stopped the race while Alistair was checked out, but he refused to go to hospital and once paramedics gave him the all-clear the event was restarted. (photo. Cardiff Motorcycle Show:
Another great success

Cardiff Motorcycle Show 2011 is another great success, Loads of motorcycles, Loads of motorcycle enthusiasts what more could a biker want?
A Visitor
- Cardiff Motorcycle Show 2011

Well this years show was bigger and better than 2010 with over 150 motorcycles ranging from the very old but unique Nortons to the brand new all singing technology of the Yamaha R1.

My hat has to go off the the organizers as this motorcycle event seems to go off without a hitch every year.

One thing that did catch my eye was how many true motorcycle enthusiasts there were at this bike event, Don't get me wrong I love talking bikes as much as the next biker but there was no pulling the wool over their eyes

They knew even washer and bolt on the machines, even down to which polish brings out it's bet shine.

Checkout the Cardiff Motorcycle Show Website for information on next years event Cardiff Motorcycle Show Website
